Club Rules
General
Care will be taken and maintained to ensure the safe-being and sensitive development of each member, consistent with his or her assessed ability.
Qualified Coaches will be in place at all times, and approved safety equipment will be employed where appropriate. The Coaches will not normally provide one to one coaching, and may direct the activities through a more senior Thames Valley School of trampolining member.
Members
We expect all our pupils to adhere to all of Thames Valley School of Trampolining’s policies and guidelines as set out in our P&G Guidelines document. By registering with Thames Valley School of Trampolining pupils are agreeing to abide at all times to these policies.
Each pupils competency is assessed against specific skills and skill combinations and routines. We will encourage pupils to progress towards our own Thames Valley School of Trampolining proficiency awards alongside BG awards schemes.
Parents
Any parental concerns relating to their child should be discussed with a Coach in the first instance or with Thames Valley School of Trampolining head coach either at the beginning or the end of a session. Parents are discouraged from entering the hall , especially when accompanied by smaller children who may pose a health and safety risk to other members. We would expect that any pupil that may have a contagious illness to cease from training until such time as that illness is not contagious!
Coaches
All Thames Valley School of Trampolining coaches adhere to the ;Coaches Code of Conduct' Thames Valley School of Trampolining thrives through the commitments made by all our Coaches. It will always ensure that Coaches are involved with, and agree with, all Thames Valley School of Trampolining activities, policies and training programmes at every level.
General Behaviour
It is expected that each member of Thames Valley School of Trampolining will behave according to our policies. We expect and encourage each member to have respect for their fellow members and coaches and will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour of any kind.
Younger members are NOT permitted to leave the Sports hall under any circumstances unless accompanied by a Coach. However older Members may leave the Trampolining Hall but only with permission from a Thames Valley School of trampolining Coach. This is granted (for obtaining a drink, toilet, or Pay 'Phone use etc,) for a maximum of five minutes. The members must make the Coach aware on their return.
Thames Valley School of Trampolining sees any form of bullying as unacceptable behaviour. Any Thames Valley School of Trampolining coach can be approached to ensure that the earliest resolution may proceed fairly and also to provide advice to anyone who is anxious that his or her child may be a bully or is being bullied.
